Power plant in Vrhovo is a hydropower plant on the lower Sava river. Hydropower plant Vrhovo is connected to the transmission network through a 110 kV switchyard with one transformer field and two transmission line fields.

The goal of the renewal was to renovate and unify electrical and mechanical equipment into the similar configuration as other hydropower plants of the SEL company have (Moste, Mavčiče, Medvode). The renewed systems will contribute to greater operational reliability and unified system maintenance.
